Gas Balancing Software Custom Programming

Gas Balancing Software custom programming for Gas Imbalance Accounting Software

Gas Balancing Software can be custom developed by Scientific Computer Applications, Inc.(SCAI)  for our clients.  Gas Imbalance Accounting Software requirements that include mobile web browsers, cloud computing, and custom web portals, can be custom developer for our clients.

Gas balancing System is gas imbalance accounting software that will keep up with the gas imbalance and provide a Gas balancing statement to all owners in the well, monthly.  In the Joint Operating Agreement (JOA) of the operational  gas balancing agreement there is an Exhibit that explains the terms and regulations for Gas balancing of the property.  Terms of the Joint Operating Agreement include but are not limited to the following:
  1.  Maximum or Minimum percentage of gas balance accounting that can be evoked.
  2. Time periods in which gas balancing can occur.
  3. If gas balancing is initiated, who is included.

Gas imbalance accounting issues led to the development of GBS (Gas balancing System). Gas balancing System software keeps track of the history of gas production, together with the history of interest splits and all other data necessary to monitor the over/under position of all parties involved.  With the information that is maintained by the Gas balancing System, it is possible to manage several different gas imbalance accounting scenarios that can arise.
  1. If a well is already in gas balance, Gas balancing System will identify, for each month, the allocation of sales to various owners that will preserve a gas balanced accounting position to their gas balancing agreement.
  2. If a well can be brought back into gas balance, if those who are underproduced sell more of than their of gas and those who are overproduced sell less of their share of gas per their gas balancing agreement, the Gas balancing System will show the amount of sales that should be allocated to each owner in order to restore gas balance.
  3. If there can arise situations where gas balance is not achieved by allocating future sales volumes appropriately, but by translating past sales volumes into dollar amounts and having a cash settlement. This can happen when the overproduced parties are so far out of gas balance that even if all future reserves are dedicated to the underproduced parties, there would still not be enough left to achieve a gas balance. It can also happen when an interest in a well is sold or adjusted in some way, or when a well is abandoned.

Contour map software developments

Contour map software developments by Scientific Computer Applications

Scientific Computer Applications (SCAI) is looking to develop new Contour map software to meet the contour mapping needs of the Exploration & Production petroleum industry.

Many contour maps software output screens are  inaccurate due to the original data not being accurate.

An industry goal is to use the most accurate data to generate for the contour map software to accurately plot the contour maps.

Contour Mapping Software

Contour Map Software -Triangulation

Contour map software methods that use the gridding technique typically start out by using the primary data points to generate a set of secondary  contour map software data points.

These secondary points, which are traditionally a grid, then replace the primary data in steps that generate the contour maps. All subsequent calculations to locate the positions of the contour maps lines use the secondary data set (the grid), the original data having been discarded. The purpose of using this contour mapping software technique is to simplify the subsequent steps by making the geometry more manageable.

Multi-Surface Contouring and Cross Sections - with SCAI’s Contour Maps Software

SCA's Mapping-Contouring System can contour up to 125 surfaces simultaneously, making a number of structural contour maps and isopachs at the same time. MCS reservoir modeling software first makes a series of isochore contour maps and interpolates or extrapolates these contour maps as necessary to cover the map area of the petroleum reservoir. Then these isopachs are used to reconstruct missing values downward and upward in the stack so that at the end of the processing procedure there is a complete set of structure and isochore maps on all surfaces. MCS makes rigorous cross sections through actual or arbitrary points. These cross sections are consistent with structure and isopach contour maps of the petroleum reservoir.

Decline curve analysis software from SCA is represented by our Forecasting, Economics and Graphics System (FEGS), a powerful and flexible petroleum economics system that expedites the accumulation, conversion and decline curve analysis of oil and gas production data.

FEGS has a specific and powerful decline curve analysis software algorithm.  FEGS also has sophisticated interest entities which can handle complicated networks of interests for oil and gas economics. FEGS is not Excel based.

Gas Balancing Software from SCA

Gas Balancing Accounting software offered as a Gas Balancing System (GBS) by Scientific Computer Applications, Inc. (SCAI)

With the deregulation of gas, the proliferation of split connections, and the rise of the natural gas spot market, the management of information regarding gas well production became considerably more complicated than in the past when a gas well was drilled and produced by one operator into an interstate pipeline for its entire life.

The complication is caused by the fact that it is possible that in a given month the various interest owners in a gas well with an operational gas balancing agreement  can end up selling more (or less) of the share of gas to which they are entitled in that month. The gas imbalance accounting  situation can go on for months, with one party becoming increasingly overproduced and another party becoming increasingly underproduced, resulting in the need for reconciled gas imbalance accounting.

The Gas balancing System is gas balancing software that will keep up with the gas imbalance and provide a Gas balancing statement to all owners in the well, monthly.

SCA Contour Map Software to be displayed at Mid-Continent Digital Oilfield Conference

SCA Contour Map Software to be displayed at Mid-Continent Digital Oilfield Conference

Tulsa's Scientific Computer Applications will be attending the Mid-Continent Digital Oilfield Conference at the Tulsa Hyatt August 15th and 16th, 2012.

SCA will display their contour map software solution, Mapping Contouring System (MCS) which can perform single surface contour maps, multi surface contour maps, as well as faulted maps.

The MCS contour maps software can handle over four million data-points in order to display rigorous contour maps of underground petroleum reservoirs.

SCA's contour mapping software is considered the most rigorous contour map software available for the E&P market of petroleum reservoir modeling.

San Andreas fault map generated by Contour map software - Northwestern area

San Andreas fault map generated by Contour map software

Contour map software by Tulsa's Scientific Computer Applications generated an underground contour map of the San Andreas fault map.
The San Andreas earthquake fault was previously thought to go straight into the ground. Instead, the San Andreas fault is propeller shaped.
In central California, the San Andreas fault map goes into the ground from east to west.  In the southeast, the San Andreas fault map indicates the earthquake fault goes into the ground from west to east in the south.
